TERMS OF TRADING
Borshch Electric is a trading name of Borshch Ltd. Please note that customers purchasing from our retail showroom should refer to in store terms of trading. We reserve the right to alter the terms of trading from time to time.
PRICING AND PAYMENT
Payments can be made by Visa, MasterCard and Maestro cards. You can also pay by BACS Transfer prior to delivery. All goods must be paid for in full prior to dispatch from our warehouse. Due to fluctuations in exchange rates, we do not accept payment made by credit or debit cards from foreign banks.
If your billing address and delivery address differ, we may need to validate the information provided with our identity verification partner. You may be contacted if additional information is required. This will help to protect both you and us against fraudulent transactions.
All prices and products quoted are subject to alteration or withdrawal without notice. All Prices include VAT. VAT is charged at the point where a transaction or service is completed. Any variation in the VAT rate will be re-calculated at the tax point.
All items are subject to availability. We can only guarantee availability while stocks last. If the goods ordered are unavailable, we will contact you and give you the option of a suitable alternative. We will endeavour to deliver goods within the times stated but goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes beyond our control. Any delivery dates specified are approximate and we cannot take responsibility for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay. Please allow enough time for your items to be delivered before you organise installation, as we cannot be held responsible for out of pocket expenses resulting from delays in delivery. You should ensure that all manufacturer guidelines are complied with in the siting and use of the goods.
TERMS OF SALE:
Please note that all goods are supplied on a sold as seen basis.
SETTLEMENT WITHIN 30 DAYS:
All items and services must be paid for in full within 30 days of purchase and prior to delivery. Terms are strictly nett. Goods not paid for within 30 days will be returned to stock and the deposit will be forfeited.
If Borshch Ltd agree to the cancellation of an order, a minimum 10% cancellation fee will be payable on the full order value to cover administration costs.
We hold thousands of items in stock for quick delivery, most of which are available for next day delivery. Our delivery timescale for stock items to most UK postcodes is 1-5 working days. Occasionally we have to order items from the manufacturer, which can extend the delivery to 5-7 working days. If there are any unforeseen delays, we will be in touch by phone or e-mail to keep you informed. Feel free to contact our sales team to discuss availability prior to placing your order.
We have our own fleet of vehicles operating a ground floor delivery service within 25 miles of our stores and we work closely with a number of excellent transport companies for deliveries outside of this area. Please check the dimensions of the product you plan to purchase to ensure that it fits in the space/unit where you plan to site it.

- Traffic restricted areas
- Width restricted roads
- Bus routes
- Low bridges
- Steps to property
- Building work/skips etc.
- Gravel driveways
Although we try to ensure any specified delivery times are adhered to, we are not in control of traffic and cannot be held responsible for unseen delays that may occur. Therefore, any delivery times given are only approximate.
In line with Company policy, deliveries are made to customer’s door only. Our delivery persons will be only too pleased to assist you further on the full understanding that any damage to your property or injuries incurred will be the sole responsibility of your good self.
All Goods & Services must be paid for prior to delivery. We will not accept payment of any kind at point of delivery. If you require any additional products or services these will need to be organised and paid for in store at least 24 hours before your arranged date.
STORAGE OF GOODS:
All goods held in store awaiting delivery will be free of charge for a period of 4 weeks. Any subsequent storage will be subject to settlement in full and thereafter a monthly/weekly charge will be made, unless a prior agreement has been made with the store manager.
If your appliance is being delivered via a third party courier, the appliance must be unpacked and inspected at point of delivery and and damages reported immediately. If your delivery is via our own delivery team any damage to appliances must be reported within 48 hours of accepting delivery.
The guarantee shall be as stated and will exclude cabinet damage, misuse or normal wear and tear. All appliances are sold with a domestic guarantee, any appliance installed or used in a non-domestic property and or capacity will not be covered by any form of guarantee. The Company will be liable for electrical & mechanical breakdown to the appliance, excluding Wi-Fi & Bluetooth functionality and any features affiliated with this, when sold with a Borshch ‘OG’ Guarantee in the Birmingham & local surrounding areas. Unauthorised repair or modification to the appliance will invalidate the guarantee. Borshch Ltd will not accept any liability for the loss of food from any cause whatsoever. All items are sold as seen. Gas Appliances must be installed in accordance with current legislation, failure to do so may result in your guarantee being void, proof of installation will be required should you need a service call.
